I was fortunate to be part of a product launch, “GV Michel Oatmeal of Australia”, held at Century Park Hotel. It was one of the imperative events I was able to attend for I was recently diagnosed as “hypertensive”. Some might consider it as something that is far from the stomach. Kidding aside, due to my workload, I was in an environment that requires my focus with both B2B & B2C structure based client. It entails more work less play. Who am I to complain, it gives me the satisfaction a Brand Marketing and Advertising consultant aims. Nonetheless, it also gives me the privilege to acquire such medical condition. To the point my doctor even told me to take a leave or lay low. Which at the time I couldn’t. So focused that even North to South vice versa client calls/visit makes it just a regular thingy. Part of my job is secure medical mission to communities. One of the best Internal Medicine Consultant I was able to work with in partnership with Manila East Medical Center in Taytay, Rizal is Dr. Dan Dennis De Leon. Given an opportunity, He devotes his time to his fellow Rizalenos and shares his insight and expertise. Topics that were socially and health relevant, delves with the silent killers such as Hypertension, Diabetes, High Cholesterol and Stress. He discussed further about Stress and Stress Management, How one’s body response to changes to the environment / surroundings. Lastly, Proper Diet, Exercise and Rest. Let me zero in on the importance of the first meal of the day. After hours of being in a state of motionless. Our body has to recover. For it needs the exact fuel for the rest of the morning. Missing it will just make us feel lethargic. One should also aim for a balanced diet thereafter. Worked on my own version of Fruity GV Michel Oatmeal and ended up including my children with a Hot GV Michel Champ-OatRado. Coached by my expert Wifey-Chefy Michelle please see recipe below.
